Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents (couples) to live in on-campus student homes and supervise groups of 8–13 students. You will guide academics, emotions, and social growth while maintaining a structured home environment.

This two-person role requires a married couple (at least two years), both partners aged 27+, with a high school diploma or GED and a valid U.S. driver's license. Relocation assistance, extensive benefits, and paid training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
