Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, guiding a group of 8–13 students and shaping their academic, emotional, and social growth in a structured, family-like setting.

Initially, they cover nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with a later transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same students.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Ability to obtain certification to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in development and recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
