Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students.

The role emphasizes a structured, family-like environment that fosters academic, emotional, and social development. Two people share duties and transition to a placed houseparent role over time.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year couples marriage minimum and age 27+ per spouse.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
