Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this lived-work role you reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and guidance for 8–13 students, helping them grow academically, emotionally, and socially.

Initially you will cover multiple homes with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle, then transition to a single placed home. Compensation includes $46,917 per person plus free on-campus housing, meals on duty, and

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying Sunday Chapel.
