Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking a Full-time Flex Houseparent couple to reside in on-campus student homes and provide care for 8–13 students. You will supervise, mentor, plan activities, and support academic and emotional development within a structured, family-like environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must participate in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited).

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and lead developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
