Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking Full-time Flex Houseparents—a two-person, married-couple role living in on-campus homes to support 8-13 students. You will supervise, mentor, and coordinate daily routines, meals, and activities, including devotions and Sunday Chapel, while ensuring student wellness and safety.

This on-campus position offers housing, meals on duty, strong benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couples must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pets: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
