Job summary

Pleasants County Schools is seeking Additional Substitute Cook(s) for the 2026-2027 school year. Positions are countywide and days vary with district need. A cook test must be passed, and applicants must have or obtain a Food Handlers Card (county may reimburse). Interviews will assess questions and tasks. Starting pay is $136.66 per day.

Successful candidates will join the school system’s food service team and support meals for students across Pleasants County.
