Job summary

The SC Department of Children’s Advocacy is seeking an experienced Program Coordinator II (County Director) to manage a county office, supervise volunteers, and ensure timely case assignment. You will oversee daily operations under statute and program guidelines.

The role requires discretion with confidential information, collaboration with DSS and stakeholders, coordination of GAL volunteer training, and direct child advocacy when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and relevant program experience or equivalent per state HR guidelines.
• Ability to exercise judgment and discretion with confidential information.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with partner agencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee county office operations to ensure compliance with statutes, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate and supervise GAL volunteers, including training and timely case assignments.
• Serve as liaison between volunteers, DSS, and stakeholders; maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
