Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; BLET certification preferred.
• Basic law enforcement training or equivalent experience expected.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned county areas to deter crime and protect life and property.
• Serve and process legal papers; appear in court as needed.
• Answer calls, investigate disturbances, assist victims, and perform search and rescue.
• Engage in community policing and public safety outreach.
• Regulate traffic, conduct accidents investigations, and interdict illegal activity.
