Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field (MPA/MBA preferred).
• Five to seven years of progressively responsible experience in county/municipal government administration.
• Demonstrated government financial management experience.
• Strongly prefer experience in economic development and rural communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and professional management of County operations.
• Support department heads and employees to foster communication and accountability.
• Collaborate with the Board, staff, partners, and residents to advance County priorities and manage resources.
