Wayne County is seeking a County Caseworker 2 (Intake Screening Unit) to perform intake screenings and determine eligibility for child welfare services. Position requires education in social sciences or related fields, plus background and drug screening.
Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with on-call rotations; telework is not available. Applicants must meet education/training requirements and be able to perform essential job functions.
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within two months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.
