• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences and one year of experience as a County Social Services Aide 3 or in a similar position performing paraprofessional case management functions.
• Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within two months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.

As a County Caseworker 1, you will perform the following duties:

• Client Support: Assist clients in obtaining mental health services that promote positive adjustment

Work Schedule and Additional Information

• Full-time employment, 40 hours/week
• Work hours vary based on the position filled from this posting.
  • Position #80013169: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 1-hour lunch.
  • Position #80013170: Rotating shifts on a 5-week schedule (25 working days). Must be available for all shifts. Of the 25 working days in each cycle, 9 will be in-office and 16 will be remote (telework). Shifts include 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, and 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week, after a 6-month probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Pittsburgh. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
