• An earned bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; hold or be eligible for a valid Florida Teacher's Certificate.
• Minimum of five (5) years of full-time teaching experience, including recent experience as an athletic director at the middle or high school level.
• Requires demonstrated experience directing a comprehensive interscholastic athletic program and working knowledge of Florida High School Athletic Association, National Federation of High School, and Broward County Athletic Association rules and regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, implement and administer a comprehensive interscholastic athletic program for middle and high school levels.
• Assist principals in selecting and developing athletic directors and coaches.
• Develop fall, winter and spring sport schedules for middle/high school contests.
• Schedule and re-schedule officials for games by coordinating with officials associations.
• Ensure compliance with FHSAA rules and safety standards for all sports.
