Job summary

Green Chimneys in Brewster, MA seeks a Country Store Program Facilitator (24 hours per week) to support the Country Store and lead work-based learning activities for youth. The role involves assisting store operations and taking part in Boni-Bel activities alongside staff and volunteers.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and potential certification in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training. Eligibility for agency-driver status is also noted.

BROAD RESPONSIBILITIES :

TheCountry Store Program Facilitator is responsible for supporting all aspects ofthe Green Chimneys Country Store and will facilitate student activities in a work-basedlearning program at the store. Will assist in operating the store for customersand will take part in seasonal Boni Bel activities. Will collaborate with StoreManager, Boni-Bel Farmer, Boni Bel Maintenance Worker, Boni-Bel Farm ProgramFacilitator, Per Diem Country Store Clerks, and Volunteers. Also supportsthe farm department and campus during special events.

Education/Experience:

Experience working with youth/special education studentspreferred

Experience and/or knowledge of gardening/farmingpreferred

Some knowledge of or experience working in a retailsetting preferred

Licensure/Certification:

Validdriver’s license and clean driving record

Successfullyfulfill requirements to be an approved agency driver

Becomecertified in and maintain Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) trainingrequirements

Physical/Mental Requirements (ADACompliance):

Inorder to perform the essential duties of the job, the incumbent must be able tospeak, hear, see, and type

Musthave the ability to work long hours, in a hectic environment, often underpressure.

Mustbe able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time

Musthave the physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, pull, push, and lift up to 50pounds on a regular basis.

This is a 24 perweek position with a pay rate range of $16.01 to $20.01 depending on education level.
