Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Proficient in laying bricks, stones, and other masonry materials.
• Knowledgeable in mixing mortar and applying it to achieve desired consistency.
• Familiar with using hand and power tools commonly used in masonry work.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors for extended periods.
• Experience operating heavy machinery such as forklifts or cherry pickers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction site by clearing debris and organizing necessary materials.
• Lay bricks, stones, or other masonry materials according to the construction plan provided.
• Cut or shape bricks according to specific needs using hand or power tools.
• Apply mortar between layers of bricks to secure them in place.
• Use levels, rulers, or plumb bobs to ensure proper alignment and levelness of structures being built or repaired.
• Repair damaged masonry structures by replacing broken bricks or stones and filling gaps with new mortar.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently.
