Job summary

Cutting Edge Countertops is seeking a motivated apprentice countertop installer for a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with overtime as needed. Start pay is $20 per hour with defined increases as skills grow and progress through the training program.

Learn installation techniques alongside experienced installers, safely unload and transport countertops, and measure according to project plans. Company benefits and a clear path to advancement are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

• Commitment to safe work practices
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials (100+ lbs) with team support
• Professional, respectful communication with customers and coworkers
• Pass background check, DOT physical, and pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Learn proper countertop installation techniques with experienced installers
• Help unload, transport, and position countertops with lifting equipment
• Take accurate measurements and follow project plans
• Assist with installations and develop skills to meet quality standards
• Use tools safely and follow company safety procedures
• Keep tools, work areas, and vehicles clean and organized for the next job
• Treat customers and their property with care and professionalism
• Safely operate company vehicles when qualified and assigned

Have Experience in a Related Trade?

Experience in trim carpentry, finish carpentry, cabinetry, or other trades requiring precision and attention to detail can provide a strong foundation for countertop installation. Candidates with relevant experience and demonstrated skills may qualify for a higher starting rate.
