Job summary

Sanel NAPA in Eliot, ME is seeking an Auto Parts Counterperson to help customers find the right parts, assist with questions, and drive sales with a friendly, proactive approach.

You will use catalogs and computer systems to lookup parts, process transactions, and support delivery needs while keeping the store organized and customer-ready. This role offers hands-on learning and strong team collaboration in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Automotive knowledge or willingness to learn.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers and basic systems.
• Team player with a positive, high-energy attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• 18+ with High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Drivers License with acceptable driving history

Responsibilities

• Help retail & commercial customers at the counter and over the phone
• Recommend the right auto parts the first time
• Use computer systems and catalogs to look up parts
• Process sales and handle cash/card transactions
• Support special orders, inventory tracking
• Act as a back up delivery driver when needed
• Work closely with your team to solve customer needs
• Keep the store organized, stocked, and customer-ready
• Follow safety guidelines and participate in safety huddles

What You’ll Do

• Help retail & commercial customers at the counter and over the phone
