Jobtailor is seeking a data-driven risk reporting analyst in New Jersey to deliver complex data extractions and dashboards. You will support cross-functional teams with SQL, SSRS and Tableau, enabling risk insight for multiple lines of business.

The role emphasizes autonomy, data governance, and collaboration with technology partners to improve data quality and reporting for senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a reporting role.
• Proficient SQL (Oracle Exadata) for complex data extraction.
• SSRS and/or Tableau for reporting and dashboards.
• Advanced Excel with pivot tables and lookups.
• Knowledge of counterparty credit risk and traded products.

Responsibilities

• Support data and technology requests, complex reporting and analysis, and modeling to manage risk and minimize credit and operating losses.
• Review and analyze portfolio trends.
• Support development of complex databases or queries to extract data.
• Support production of data for internal and external reporting needs.
• Work with Technology to implement changes supporting ongoing data needs.
• Develop and execute reporting enabling Risk and business partners to identify and manage risk.
• Analyze portfolio trends, loss trends and portfolio dynamics.
• Provide analytical support for product strategic initiatives affecting multiple Risk functions and lines of business.
