Amentum seeks a Counterintelligence (CI) Officer to support our Client’s operational requirements in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The role requires all-source intelligence research, risk analysis, and concise briefing delivery to customer management.

The ideal candidate holds a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance, a Bachelor’s and 12+ years of experience (Master’s preferred), and is skilled in intelligence operations, cyber/technical, IO, and HUMINT capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 12–20+ years of experience (Master’s preferred).
• Experience conducting vulnerability analysis or surveys.
• Ability to deliver clear and concise briefs.
• Strong knowledge of foreign adversaries’ intelligence capabilities (cyber/technical, IO, HUMINT).
• Understanding of offensive and defensive CI methods.
• Familiarity with CI risk analysis concepts including insider threat.
• Knowledge of fundamentals of intelligence operations and risk assessment.
• Must possess TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Job description

Amentum is seeking a Counterintelligence (CI) Officer to support our Client’s challenging operational requirements in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Successful CI Officer candidates will work in an integrated government‑contractor team fusing intelligence information from multiple intelligence disciplines.

Responsibilities

• All‑source intelligence research
• Risk analysis
• Report writing
• Operational concept development
• Stakeholder engagement and presentation of reports to all levels of customer management
• Drafting and disseminating written reports and requests for information

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 12–20+ years of relevant professional experience; Master’s degree desired
• Experience conducting vulnerability analysis or surveys
• Ability to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings
• Strong knowledge of foreign adversaries’ intelligence capabilities including cyber/technical, information operations, and HUMINT
• Understanding of offensive and defensive counter‑intelligence methods
• Familiarity with CI risk analysis concepts, including insider threat detection
• Knowledge of and experience in the fundamentals of intelligence operations to include risk assessment
• Must possess a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance at the time of application

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations
• Experience identifying targeting leads through exploitation of all‑source databases to craft targeting packages
• Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices
• Formal CI training and/or certifications
• Overseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing
• Foreign language skills

Compensation

Estimated salary range: $100,000 – $200,000. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
