Job summary

Consulting Services Group (CSG) is seeking a Counterintelligence Officer to join an integrated government-contractor team in the Greater Washington area. Responsibilities include all-source intelligence research, risk analysis, and report writing; development of operational concepts; and delivering clear briefings to senior management.

On-site in Northern Virginia with no remote option. Requires a TS/SCI clearance with Poly, 7+ years of experience, and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Active Top Secret SCI security clearance with Poly at time of application.
  • Experience conducting vulnerability analysis or surveys.
  • Strong knowledge of foreign adversaries' intelligence capabilities including cyber/technical, Information Operations, and HUMINT.
  • Understanding of offensive and defensive counter-intelligence methods.
  • Familiarity with the concepts involved in CI risk analysis including insider threat detection.
  • Knowledge of and experience in the fundamentals of intelligence operations to include risk assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct all-source intelligence research and risk analysis; draft and disseminate written reports and information requests.
  • Develop operational concepts and present findings to stakeholders and customer management.
  • Engage with field and customer teams; deliver clear and concise briefings.

Position Overview

To meet our needs, we are looking for a Counterintelligence (CI) Officer to work in the Greater Washington Metropolitan Area. Successful CI Officer candidates will work in an integrated government-contractor team fusing intelligence information from multiple intelligence disciplines. Responsibilities include all-source intelligence research, risk analysis, and report writing; operational concept development; stakeholder engagement; and preparation and presentation of reports to all levels of customer management. CI Officers must think critically and communicate highly complex information accurately, clearly, and in proper context while working collaboratively in a team environment. The ability to draft and disseminate written reports and requests for information and to deliver clear and concise briefings is a key skill for this role.

This posting is for multiple opportunities, ranging in years of experience:

  • Level 3: requires 7 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree
  • Level 4: requires 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree
  • Level 5: requires 20 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a degree
Qualifications

  • Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices
  • Formal CI training and/or certifications
  • Overseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing
  • Foreign Language Skills
  • Master’s degree with 2-6 years' experience
