Job summary

VTG Defense seeks a Counterintelligence (CI) Officer to support our Client's demanding operations in the Washington Metropolitan Area, including Northern Virginia. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7–12 years of applicable experience (Level 3).
• 12–20 years of applicable experience (Level 4).
• 20+ years of applicable experience (Level 5).
• Cable writing experience.
• Experience conducting vulnerability analysis or surveys.
• Ability to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings.
• Strong knowledge of foreign adversaries' intelligence capabilities including cyber/technical, information operations, and HUMINT.
• Understanding of offensive and defensive counter-intelligence methods.
• Familiarity with CI risk analysis, including insider threat detection.
• Knowledge of intelligence operations fundamentals including risk assessment.
• For Level 5: at least 2 overseas tours or 4 years of TDY.
• Must have a high-level US Government clearance at application.

Overview

Seeking Counterintelligence (CI) Officer to support our Client's challenging operational requirements at multiple locations in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

What will you do?

VTG is seeking a Counterintelligence (CI) Officer to support our Client in the Northern Virginia area.

Do you have what it takes?

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and
• • 7-12 years of applicable experience (Level 3)
  • 12-20 years of applicable experience (Level 4)
  • 20+ years of applicable experience (Level 5)
• Cable writing experience
• Experience conducting vulnerability analysis or surveys
• Ability to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings
• Strong knowledge of foreign adversaries' intelligence capabilities including cyber/technical, information operations, and HUMINT
• Understanding of offensive and defensive counter-intelligence methods
• Familiarity with the concepts involved in CI risk analysis including insider threat detection
• Knowledge of and experience in the fundamentals of intelligence operations to include risk assessment
• For level 5: at least 2 total overseas tours (CONUS or OCONUS) or 4 years worth of TDY experience
• Must possess a high level US Government issued clearance at the time of application

Desired Qualifications:

• Candidates with a Master's degree are highly desirable.
• Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations
• Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases to craft targeting packages
• Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices
• Formal CI training and/or certifications
• Overseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing
• Foreign language skills
