Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Counter Unmanned Aircraft System Staff Officer at Fort Bragg to advise on C-UAS capabilities and help close gaps for Army clients. You will analyze threats, develop guidance, and coordinate with partners to implement force protection measures.

You will produce reports, briefs, and documents for leadership while leveraging your 8+ years of military experience and a Top Secret clearance. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience with the U.S. military as a senior NCO or Officer.
  • 2+ years of experience on air defense, electronic warfare, or C-UAS programs.
  • Experience serving on a Brigade or higher-level staff.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Secret clearance is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Completion of Senior NCO or Captain’s Career Course.
  • Applicants will undergo a security investigation for clearance.

Counter Unmanned Aircraft System Staff Officer

As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don’t. We need your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills to solve some of our clients’ most complex problems and find solutions that keep our nation safe. As a Counter Unmanned Aircraft System (C‑UAS) Staff Officer working as part of the Counter Improvised Threat Integration Cell, your leadership, technical expertise, and high‑level staff experience will assist the U.S. Army to counter the ever changing and expanding UAS threat.

You will serve as a subject matter expert on C‑UAS capabilities, training, and associated processes. You will assist the Army client to analyze and understand capability gaps, with a focus on force protection, and prepare recommendations to close gaps. You will support the development of documents that address C‑UAS capabilities and UAS threats, including exercise scenarios, training guidance, EXORDs and OPLANS or OPORDs. You will assist the Army to integrate theater‑specific C‑UAS training requirements, advise on force protection requirements based on the UAS threat, and coordinate with other operational commands, force providers, and partner nations regarding training, equipping, and resourcing. You will produce reports, information papers, briefings, and other products for the client focused on force protection.

You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience working with the U.S. military as a senior NCO or Officer
  • 2+ years of experience working on air defense, electronic warfare, or C‑UAS programs or activities
  • Experience serving on a Brigade or higher-level staff
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Completion of a Senior NCO or Captains Career Course
  • Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
