Role Description

Our front of house team members welcome and care for guests in our cafes. Counter team members should have a working knowledge of all Tatte products, delivering delicious savory dishes and pastries, operating the point-of-sale register, and maintaining a clean workspace. Baristas showcase their artistic coffee skills by handcrafting creative beverages. We expect our team members to:

Primary Responsibilities

Counter Team Members

• Provide gracious, high-quality service, welcoming guests and engaging with them throughout their visit
• Determine guest needs through questions and product knowledge sharing
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Tatte products
• Follow product and packaging standards
• Deliver coffee and food orders to guests
• Support café cleanliness and visual standards
• Adhere to safety and sanitation standards and policies
• Perform other related tasks as needed

Baristas

• Deliver high-quality, gracious service, engaging with guests
• Have comprehensive product knowledge
• Prepare and serve beverages per recipes and standards
• Answer guest questions
• Follow recipe and presentation standards
• Operate station equipment properly
• Keep the bar area clean, sanitary, and well-stocked
• Create artistic espresso beverages
• Perform other duties as assigned

Working Conditions

• Strong communication skills for guest and team engagement
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to reach overhead and lift/move 50+ lbs
• Stand for 8+ hours daily
