Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking an Automotive Parts Specialist in Amarillo, TX. You will provide and source parts for fleet customers, assist team members with product knowledge, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Prerequisites include a valid driver’s license, experience in auto parts or related industry, and strong communication skills. A high school diploma or GED is required, with ASE certifications a plus. Growth opportunities exist within the NAPA family.

What you will be doing:

• Provide and source parts for specialized equipment for our fleet customers
• Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members and answer questions for customers
• Provide outstanding customer service and interact with management and technicians
• Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced environment.
• Ask appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and sourced.
• Inform customers on parts availability.

What you'll need:

• Valid Driver's License
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or at least a willingness to learn all things auto parts
• High School Diploma or GED. Technical or Trade school courses or degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great listening skills and empathy for customer
• Ability to work on or around an airport environment in a shop environment

And if you have this, even better (not a deal breaker if you don't):

• Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
• Experience in airport ground support equipment
• Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, AND/OR inventory management systems, a plus
• Entirely customer-centric (external/internal)
• ASE Certifications
