Job description

As a Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate, you will assist with customer orders, information requests, and inventory status. You will review orders to ensure accuracy and communicate any deviations to the customer in a timely and professional manner. Additionally, you will assemble products for receiving, storing, shipping, and control of materials in inventory or for sale.

Primary Duties:

1. Assist and resolve customer requests and/or problems promptly and professionally.
2. Sell products and services, offer add-on and up-sell products that benefit the customer, and suggest alternatives when requested products are unavailable.
3. Maintain merchandise and literature displays.
4. Develop knowledge of Crescent's product inventory, its location, and sales techniques. Stay updated on market trends, new products, and their applications.
5. Support inside sales representatives and warehouse personnel as needed.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Previous wholesale electrical distribution product knowledge and sales experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

Often standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and stooping. Occasional sitting, talking/hearing. Frequent use of hands/fingers.

Lifting and Carrying:

• Continuous lifting and carrying 1-20 lbs.
• Frequent lifting and carrying 21-50 lbs.
• Occasional lifting and carrying 51-100 lbs., with assistance as needed.

Vision Requirements:

• Close vision (within 20 inches)
• Distance vision (20 feet or more)
• Peripheral vision
• Depth perception
