Position Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

Counter Sales/Warehouse Associates work in the warehouse and also provide superior service to customers at the Famous Supply branch, in person and via phone, the Famous Way. Counter Sales Associates help contractor customers get the materials they need so they can get back to their job.

Primary Job Responsibilities - Counter Sales

• Provide friendly and helpful customer service
• Understand customer needs
• Provide the products and solutions to meet customer needs
• Process and schedule customer orders
• Manage Open Orders and customer Bids
• Pull orders from the warehouse to serve customers
• Keep counter area clean and organized

Primary Job Responsibilities - Warehouse

• Unloading trucks
• Receiving material
• Put-away of material
• Picking customer orders
• Staging customer orders for delivery
• Loading customer delivery trucks

Required Experience And Responsibilities

• Customer service mindset
• Ability to use computer
• Ability to stand on feet for majority of an 8-hour day
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Ensuring product is handled with care to prevent damage
• Attention to detail to ensure warehouse tasks listed above are done accurately
• Keeping warehouse clean, neat and organized

Preferred Experience And Skills

• HVAC and/or Plumbing knowledge.
• Forklift experience
• RF Scanner Experience
• Warehouse Experience
