Third Coast Distributing, doing business as NAPA AutoParts, is seeking a friendly Counter Salesperson to join our team in South/Central Texas. You will assist customers, identify parts, and process sales at the counter using POS and catalog systems, while promoting product knowledge and warranties.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of retail experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.

About The Role:

OurCounter Salespeople are the key to our success, delivering excellent customerexperiences and developing long-standing relationships with our customers. Positionreports to the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service and build positive customerrelationships.
• Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale,computer, and catalog systems.
• Assist customers by identifying parts and communicating productfeatures, benefits, and warranty information.
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, andcustomer-focused approach.
• Support team members by sharing product knowledge and assistingwith customer inquiries.
• Maintain merchandising standards, promotional materials, andproduct displays.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe store environment, includingsales floor, counter, and stock areas.

About You:

The idealcandidate will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Minimum of 1 year of retailexperience; automotive parts knowledge or experience preferred.
• High school diploma orequivalent.
• Experience using point-of-sale(POS), inventory management, and product catalog systems in a retail orautomotive environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service andcommunication skills with the ability to build positive customer relationships.
• Ability to multitask and workeffectively in a fast-paced environment.

EssentialPhysical Requirements

• Scan,handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequentlylifting or moving merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting ormoving merchandise up to 60 pounds.
