Job summary

Staff Perm, LLC in Hobart, IN is seeking a Counter Sales Associate / Stand Up Forklift to support warehouse functions including shipping/receiving and forklift operation. The role requires forklift experience and a high school diploma, with scheduled hours Monday–Friday and a pay rate of 20 per hour.

Candidates should have general warehouse experience and be able to lift up to 50 lbs, with emphasis on accuracy in shipment records and safe equipment operation.

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or GED.
Forklift certification - preferred.
3 years of Forklift operation.
3 years of stand-up forklift experience - Required.
Computer Skills.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.
Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.
Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
Completes written and computerized documentation.
