Job summary

North Coast, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a Counter Sales professional to join our team in Vancouver, WA. You will handle quotations, order entry, and proactive customer service while maintaining strong vendor relationships and promoting service guarantees.

Responsibilities

• Counter and other sales/support duties as directed.
• Quotations, order entry, tracking and proactive Customer Service.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key vendors.
• Identify and pursue gross margin and market share growth opportunities.
• Promote the DOTP (Deliver on the Promise) CSG’s for increased share.
• Assist Will Call customers and support warehouse as needed.

• Counter Sales for Contractor, Industrial & OEM Market
• Quotations, order entry, tracking and proactive Customer Service
• Counter and other sales/support duties as directed
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key vendors
• Commit to proactive and team approach to sales
• Identify and pursue gross margin and market share growth opportunities
• Promote heavily the DOTP (Deliver on the Promise) CSG’s (Customer Service Guarantees) for increased share
• Relationship building with Will Call customers
• Helping warehouse as needed (wire cuts, filling orders, loading delivery truck)
• Other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring:

• Possess a personal and professional vision of success inteamwork
• Previous sales experience and product knowledge in the electrical field is preferred

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Continuous phone and computer usage
• Standing and Lifting (Up to 50lbs)
• Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday, however, based on business needs evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required.
• Requires regular and reliable on-site attendance

Additional Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Salary & Compensation:

• This position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime
• Pay is $19/hour - $21.97/hour, DOE.
