Job summary

North Coast, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a Counter Sales representative for Contractor, Industrial & OEM markets in the Seattle area. You will handle quotations, order entry, tracking and proactive customer service while building strong vendor relationships and supporting Will Call customers.

A team-focused, self-motivated salesperson with electrical product knowledge is preferred. We offer competitive benefits and on-site work in the Northwest region.

Responsibilities

• Counter sales for Contractor, Industrial & OEM market.
• Quotations, order entry, tracking and proactive customer service.
• Counter and other sales/support duties as directed.
• Establish and maintain vendor relationships.
• Commit to proactive and team-based sales.
• Identify and pursue gross margin and market share growth.
• Promote DOTP CS Gs for increased share.
• Relationship building with Will Call customers.
• Help warehouse as needed (wire cuts, filling orders, loading delivery truck).
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Do:

• Counter Sales for Contractor, Industrial & OEM Market
• Quotations, order entry, tracking and proactive Customer Service
• Counter and other sales/support duties as directed

• Commit to proactive and team approach to sales
• Identify and pursue gross margin and market share growth opportunities
• Promote heavily the DOTP (Deliver on the Promise) CSG’s (Customer Service Guarantees) for increased share
• Relationship building with Will Call customers
• Helping warehouse as needed (wire cuts, filling orders, loading delivery truck)
• Other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring:

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Continuous phone and computer usage
• Standing and Lifting (Up to 50lbs)
• Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday, however, based on business needs evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required.
• Requires regular and reliable on-site attendance

Additional Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Salary & Compensation:

• This position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime
• Pay is $21.11/hour - $26.39/hour, DOE.
