Job summary

Inline Electric Supply in Mobile, Alabama, is seeking a Counter Sales associate to greet customers, recommend products, and process orders at our employee-owned store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with approved clean driving record.
• One year electrical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a courteous, professional, timely manner.
• Assist walk-in customers with product recommendations and solutions.
• Take customer orders accurately and follow up as needed.
• Pull stock materials for counter orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries regarding orders and products.
• Notify customers of order arrivals the day of receipt.
• Process product returns per Inline Electric Supply procedures.
• Expedite and resolve customer complaints and escalate to Counter Sales Manager as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized counter area and perform daily housekeeping.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory activities as assigned.
• Work independently and with the team to meet customer and operational needs.
• Follow all safety policies and compliance requirements.
