Job summary

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC, part of the Sonepar family, seeks a customer-focused sales associate for its Morristown, NJ location. You will greet walk-in customers, enter orders, pick items, and process payments in a fast-paced retail/warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Sales experience and/or electrical knowledge preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication.
• Strong mathematics, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate information and present solutions to a customer.
• Ability to operate computers and relevant software.
• Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in customers and assist with orders and product selection.
• Enter sales orders and pick items from warehouse inventory.
• Prepare customer sales tickets and collect payments.
• Handle phone-in customers with courteous etiquette.
• Maintain counter displays, organized and stocked.
• Reach monthly sales and gross-margin goals.
• Encourage use of digital tools across customers.
• Multi-task and prioritize tasks throughout the day.
