MURPHY WALL PRODUCTS INTERNATIONAL INC is seeking an Entry-level Store Manager in Farmers Branch, TX. You will oversee store operations, greet customers, and guide their product choices while ensuring excellent service and optimal inventory levels.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, handling invoicing and payments, supervising staff, maintaining safety and cleanliness, managing stock, and reporting to the Fort Worth office.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred background with retail management or store responsibilities.
• P&L experience or accountability considered a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Open and close store on time for all scheduled shifts.
• Greet customers and answer questions to meet needs with product knowledge.
• Address customer complaints promptly to improve service.
• Train employees to suggestive-sell based on customer needs.
• Oversee loaders and assist other employees as needed.
• Ensure forklift checklist is current and forklift maintenance is performed.
• Process daily invoicing and financials per company procedures.
• Ring in customer items and process payments accurately using the POS.
• Maintain daily registers and send information to Fort Worth.
• Stock merchandise and organize warehouse; assist with ordering and inventory counts.
• Monitor inventory and shrink results; ensure displays and stock levels are up to standard.
• Schedule store orders and deliveries; communicate with Sales Director.
• Monitor aging reports and assist with collections as needed.
• Ensure all items on sales floor are stocked to 100%.
• Manage store P&L and controllable expenses.
• Maintain showroom, floors, and counters with full displays.

Job Details: Level: Entry, Job Location: Farmers Branch, TX 75234, Oversee all store functions and employees to ensure excellent customer service, suggestive selling and product knowledge to all customers as spelled out with the Company Mission Statement and Core Values. Communicate all expectations to Fort Worth Office

Key Responsibilities:

• Open and close store on time for all scheduled shifts
• Greeting customers in person and answering the phone and asking them about their product needs: answer questions and make recommendations to meet their needs from the store’s equipment and merchandise.
• Addresses any customer complaints or concerns promptly and addresses these with all store employees to improve customer service.
• Train all employees to suggestive sell products that will benefit customers based on their individual construction or project needs.
• Oversees loaders and assists with other employees when needed
• Ensure forklift checklist is kept current and that forklift is maintained
• Complete all daily invoicing and financials following Murco procedures including counting drawers daily.
• Use computer to ring in customer items and process cash, check and credit card payments accurately.
• Maintain all registers logged in with their daily information sent to Ft Worth in a timely manner.
• Storing and organizing goods and raw materials properly in our warehouse, assist with ordering and counting merchandise when needed.
• Accountable for completing monthly & quarterly inventory count and for shrink result
• Work with store employees to make sure all merchandise is stocked in displays and stack outs are completed per schedule.
• Schedule store orders and deliveries.
• Notify Director of Sales if customers stop buying or if competitor products are seen
• Review the Salesman Call Report daily to find potential customers
• Monitors the aging report and helps call customers for collections.
• Make sure all items on sales floor are stocked to 100% full.
• Accountable for P&L profit through sales growth and managing controllable expenses.
• Maintaining work areas and equipment, keep the show room, floors and counter areas clean with full displays at all times
• Bilingual a plus

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred background with retail management or store management responsibilities.
• P&L experience and previous accountability.

Required Skills:

• Strong communication skills and preferably a background in retail sales.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs, stock merchandise and operate a cash register
• Able to wear a mask during work hours and to work all scheduled shifts.
• Able to pass a drug test.
• Reliable transportation.

Schedule:

• Weekend - 7 am to noon on Saturday
• Monday to Friday
