The Counter Sales Person is responsible for providing assistance to customers during the sales/purchase process and for responding to customer inquiries in a professional manner. Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information (including product catalogs, price sheets, etc.), product promotions and advertisements.

The Counter Sales Person is responsible for providing assistance to customers during the sales/purchase process and for responding to customer inquiries in a professional manner. Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information (including product catalogs, price sheets, etc.), product promotions and advertisements.

Typical shift will require answering phones, sending/checking emails, customer contact, typing up orders, pulling orders, making wire cuts, and answering more phone calls. Schedule is Monday - Friday 7:00AM-4:00PM (with a one hour lunch), and you will be required to cover a Saturday rotation every six weeks or so. (Saturdays 8-NOON)

This is a safety-sensitive position, the ability to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner is imperative. Candidates offered employment must undergo a pre-employment drug test. The test screens for drugs including amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidines, following the cutoff levels set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). This position is subject to a background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities. Only job-related convictions will be considered and will not automatically disqualify the candidate.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone. Ability to bend, climb, push, and pull, including the ability to maneuver at heights and in tight or small places. Ability to routinely lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 70 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh in excess of 70 lbs.
