Position Overview

LPG- Customer service representatives (counter sales) are seasoned professionals with extensive knowledge around irrigation, lighting, and drainage products who assist walk-in and call-in customers through the entire sales process. They are fueled by dedication and play a critical role in upholding our reputation for exceeding our customers’ expectations.

What You’ll Do

  1. Be the go-to expert for all products within STI’s Landscape Products Group (LPG)
  2. Ensure every customer interaction is marked by promptness, professionalism, and precision
  3. Act as a pivotal resource for customers, answering queries about irrigation, landscape lighting products, applications, and pricing
  4. Process sales efficiently- from entering orders, managing inventory, scheduling deliveries or aiding customers with product pickups
  5. Establish and nurture transparent communication channels with internal teams, guaranteeing timely product delivery
  6. Work hand-in-hand with external sales representatives to boost growth in the LPG sector and elevate overall customer satisfaction
  7. Play a role in keeping the branch showroom and yard tidy, organized and welcoming

Skills We Are Seeking

  1. Minimum of 2 years’ experience either in a retail or wholesale setting
  2. A solid grasp of irrigation, landscape lighting and drainage applications is preferred
  3. Demonstrable skills in inventory management systems. An openness to embrace new technological skills is essential
  4. A proven aptitude for delivering top-notch customer service experiences
  5. A keenness to learn, adapt, and implement new technologies and methodologies
  6. A knack for swift, informed, and effective decision-making
  7. Capable of routinely handling items weighing up to 50 pounds
  8. High school diploma or its equivalent is required
