Job summary

APR Supply Co., a leading plumbing, HVAC and hydronic supplies distributor, seeks a Branch Sales Representative at our Harrisburg, PA location. You will drive sales by building customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving revenue goals for the branch.

Key duties include assisting customers, preparing quotations, processing orders, and supporting delivery activities while staying current on product knowledge and market trends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven sales abilities and strong communication skills.
• Ability to navigate Eclipse software and keep accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to understand needs, provide tailored solutions and foster loyalty.
• Identify opportunities to expand the customer base and increase market share.
• Assist customers in person or by phone and prepare accurate quotations based on client specs.
• Ensure orders are entered and processed correctly and sales completed accurately.
• Pick customer orders from warehouse storage areas and support deliveries as needed.
• Collaborate with customers to address inquiries, concerns and evolving needs promptly and professionally.
• Gather feedback to provide insights for product or service improvements and work with teams to implement changes.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends and market developments through ongoing training.

What You’ll Do

The Branch Sales Representative plays a crucial role in driving sales and building strong relationships with customers by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing accounts and achieving company, territory and branch revenue goals.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, foster loyalty and repeat business
• Proactively identify opportunities for expanding the customer base and increasing market share
• Assist customers in person or over the phone and prepare accurate and detailed quotations for products based on client specifications
• Confirm orders are input and processed correctly and sales transactions are completed accurately
• Pick customer orders from warehouse storage areas
• Make deliveries to customer locations on an as‑needed basis
• Collaborate with customers to understand their evolving needs, addressing inquiries, concerns and issues promptly and professionally
• Gather and analyze customer feedback and preferences to provide insights for product or service improvements
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive solutions that align with customer requirements
• Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, competitive landscape and market development through continuous learning and training programs
• Continuously renew knowledge of company offerings, features and benefits
• Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance overall branch efficiency and productivity
• Monitor health and safety policies and regulations in the branch environment
• Assist in keeping the facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently
• Willing to work some overtime when needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Successful sales abilities
• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate Eclipse software
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Problem‑solving abilities and strong organizational skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, various departments and vendors
• Self‑motivated and willing to work with others
