Job summary

Keeling Company in Conway, AR is seeking a Sales Counter/Driver Associate to greet customers, handle in-person and phone inquiries, and support warehouse and local deliveries in a fast-paced branch.

This role requires entering orders in the ERP system, pulling and preparing inventory for pickup, and staying current on product knowledge through training. A high school diploma and reliable customer service skills are required; bilingual is a bonus.

Qualifications

• DOT Medical Certification or ability to obtain
• Lift up to 75 lbs.
• Forklift certification provided by employer
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report
• Proficiency with computer-based tasks (email, invoicing, inventory)
• High School degree or equivalent
• Prior sales, warehousing, and/or delivery experience
• Pass a drug screen and background check
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional and courteous demeanor
• Bilingual is a plus, not required

The Sales Counter/Driver Associate plays a vital, hands-on role in nearly every aspect of branch operations — including customer service (both in-person and over the phone), warehouse support, and local deliveries. This position requires a motivated, knowledgeable, and energetic individual who can manage time effectively in a dynamic environment. With each branch staffed by a small, close-knit team of 3–4 people, all associates are cross-trained to ensure flexibility and shared responsibility. Every team member contributes directly to the branch’s overall success.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Greet and direct customers
• Customer service support for both In-person and over the phone. Must be able to answer customer questions about specific products/services (e.g., product features, pricing, and after-sales services)
• Entering orders in the ERP system
• Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick-up or delivery
• Develop and stay up-to-date on product knowledge through involvement in Company and vendor-sponsored training programs
• Coordinate with the team to provide excellent customer service (especially during our busy season)
• Assist with merchandising products, managing inventory, and other store tasks while maintaining a safe working environment
• Make local deliveries to the customer
• Ensure that the store and all its properties are upholding the expectations of the Keeling Company brand: exceeding customer service expectations, cleanliness, atmosphere, and high energy.
• All other duties are assigned by the branch manager or the Keeling Company leadership team.
