Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a Counter Sales Associate. The role focuses on exceptional customer service for walk-in, phone, and will-call customers, processing orders, and providing product information in a fast-paced construction supply environment.

Ideal candidates will have experience with sales order software (Oracle preferred), knowledge of construction/industrial products, and Spanish language proficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience using sales order software; Oracle preferred.
• Knowledge of construction or industrial products is a plus.
• Spanish language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates exceptional customer service to walk-in, phone, and will-call customers.
• Processes orders, quotes prices, enters orders into the system, and provides order information to customers.
• Communicates product features, benefits, and warranty information to customers.
• Demonstrates knowledge of products and their applications, provides technical advice, troubleshoots, and helps resolve issues.
• Upsells by identifying related products and informing customers of promotions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Upsells by identifying related products, add-on extensions, and informing customers of product promotions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
