Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts in Kuna, Idaho is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to be the primary contact for customers. You will determine needs, secure the correct parts, and ensure customers have a positive experience while maintaining a professional store image.

You will build strong relationships, greet customers, resolve issues, assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, and ensure accurate cataloging at the point of sale. A valid driver's license and prior retail experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license preferred and required in some locations.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• GED preferred.
• Capable of operating POS system and cataloging.
• Attention to detail and accuracy; able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and understand needs to secure correct parts.

JOB PURPOSE

The Counter Sales Associate acts as the primary point of contact for NAPA's retail and wholesale customers. A person in this position is responsible for ensuring sales by determining customers' needs, assisting in securing necessary parts, maintaining personal and store image, and ensuring customers receive a good experience.

DUTIES

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous retail sales experience preferred.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy as well as ability to multi-task and is self-motivated.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand and walk for entire work shift.
• Capable of moving merchandise of up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to move heavy equipment using moving aids.
• Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively.
