Job summary

RWC Building Products is seeking a motivated salesperson to support customers in-store and by phone. You will enter sales orders, process transactions, and keep the showroom stocked with the latest roofing materials and products.

You will leverage product knowledge to drive sales, educate customers, and build relationships in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a non-exempt, base-pay hourly role with room to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales and customer service.
• Knowledge of roofing materials and their applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the counter and over the phone.
• Entering sales orders and cash transactions.
• Stock the showroom with material; update the showroom with any new products.
• Placing purchase orders for special orders.
• Estimate material and jobs for customers.
• Drives sales through engagement, cold-calling, suggestive selling, and product knowledge.
• Educate themselves on all products and services offered to the public.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Base Pay $21.01 - $26.73 / Hour

• Drives sales through the engagement of customers, cold-calling, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
• Educate themselves on all products and services RWC offers to the public
• All other duties as assigned
