Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. is hiring a Counter Representative to assist customers, process orders, and prepare items for pickup on the 1st shift. You’ll maintain store presentation, operate cash registers, and ensure safety and PPE compliance in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires customer service experience, basic HVAC/plumbing product knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Pre-employment screening is required; comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC and/or plumbing products is a plus.
• Warehouse experience a plus.
• General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• General math skills to allow for cash accounting.
• An ability to learn is a must have!
• Excellent decision making and communication skills.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required.

Responsibilities

Counter Representative: Schedule: 40 hours per week: 1st shift schedule

Responsibilities

• Provides advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs
• Processing orders via order management system
• Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised
• Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas
• Maintain a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Pay Range: - $15.00 - $38.93 - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles. - This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. - Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
