DSG in Spirit Lake, IA is seeking a Plumbing & HVAC Counter/Inside Sales Associate for a full-time, hourly role. The position involves assisting in growing our Plumbing/HVAC sales in Spirit Lake via the City Desk and Inside Sales department.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of HVAC/technical training or 3–5 years of field experience, strong customer service and ERP skills, and the ability to lift 30–70 pounds. Hours are 7 am–4 pm, Monday–Friday.

DSG is seeking a Plumbing & HVAC Counter/Inside Sales Associate in our Spirit Lake , IA location. In this full time, hourlyposition, work is typically performed between the hours of 7 am and 4 pm ,Monday through Friday, but may vary on occasion according to business needs. As a Counter/Inside Sales Associate, you will assist in growing our overall Plumbing/HVAC sales in the Spirit Lake area via responsibilities at both the City Desk and Inside Sales department.

A Typical Day in the Life of a Plumbing & HVAC Counter/Inside Sales Associate at DSG:

• Serve as a primary facilitator for customer orders
• Assist customers in a professional manner with product inquiries
• Write (and occasionally assist to fill) orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Generate customer quotations and follow up on quotes requested

A Successful Plumbing & HVAC Counter/Inside Sales Associate Typically Has:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Product and technical knowledge normally acquired in two or more years of college or technical school OR 3-5 years field experience in the residential/commercial applications of Plumbing & HVAC products.
• Excellent relationship building skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal, customer service and communication skills across a variety of settings (in-person, phone, and email).
• Strong attention to detail, paired with the ability to multi-task.
• A knack for active listening to determine customer needs.
• Superior problem solving, project management, and analytical skills.
• A high proficiency with computers – experience in Eclipse or other ERP systems preferred.
• The ability to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively.
• The physical ability to frequently lift & load items weighing 30-70 pounds.
