Job summary

Hard Rock International in the United States is seeking a Count Team Assistant to assist in sorting, counting and recording currency in the count room under the direction of the Count Team/Room Supervisor. Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Count Team/Room Supervisor, the incumbent assists in sorting, counting and recording of currency in the count room.

Essential Job Functions

May include but are not limited to:

  • Verifying documentation removed from drop boxes with information recorded on master game worksheet.
  • Assist with all count room activities as assigned.
  • Completing all gaming floor tasks related to the Count Team Department
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required as well as currency handling skills, or a combination of education and/or experience
  • Basic math skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Work Environment

May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to: second hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant interaction with the general public. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The work environment characteristics described here may be representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy.
