Job summary

Bally's Kansas City Casino is seeking a cash-handling team member to collect and count funds from gaming areas, manage assets, and complete accurate paperwork. This role requires adherence to gaming regulations and the ability to work varied shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include transporting funds to the count room, counting cash, and operating standard office equipment. A High School diploma and prior cashiering experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Some experience in cashiering or cash handling and counting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collect money from slot machines and other cash points and replace with empty cans.
  • Maintain control of casino assets at all times.
  • Follow procedures for collection, counting and asset security.
  • Transport assets to the count room.
  • Count all money collected from the gaming floor.
  • Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
  • Operate office equipment (PC, phone with voicemail, 10-key, copier).
  • Maintain equipment used to transport and count funds.
  • Able to work all shifts, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Read, write and understand simple instructions.
  • Adhere to Missouri Gaming Commission and other regulations.

Job description

  • Collect money collection cans from all assigned slot machines, bill validators, change machines, and/or table games boxes, and replace with empty cans.
  • At all times, maintain control of all casino assets.
  • Follow all procedures for collection, counting, and asset security at all times.
  • Transport assets to count room.
  • Count all money collected from the gaming floor.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation timely, accurately, and legibly.
  • Appropriate use of office equipment, including personal computer, telephone with voice mail system, 10-key calculator, and copy machine.
  • Appropriate use and maintenance of equipment and machinery used for transporting and counting funds.
  • Must be able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Read, write, and understand simple instructions.
  • Understand and adhere to all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.

Target Salary Range: $15.50
