Job summary

Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, CA is hiring a Count Drop Team Representative for the 3:30AM-11:30AM shift. You will handle the daily collection of cash from slot and JPX kiosks, transport currency, and operate currency counting equipment with strict adherence to internal controls and safety protocols.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to count large sums quickly, and a commitment to reliability and attendance. Benefits are included for full-time team members.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
• Warehouse experience, preferred.
• Any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.

Responsibilities

• Completes the daily collection of bill accepters cash boxes from slot, kiosks and JPX kiosks.
• Transports full and empty transport carts to count room or casino floor, ensuring safety of guests and employees.
• Opens slot machines, kiosks and JPX Kiosk doors by following Department Standard operating procedures.
• Operates handheld scanner to scan slot machine asset numbers and cash box barcodes.
• Counts daily currency from slot drop, Table Games, kiosks and JPX Kiosk and operates currency counter equipment.
• Able to work at a fast-paced work environment.
• Performs rapid counting of large sums of currency and ensures security of funds.
• Complies with Soboba Tribal Internal Controls and Casino policies and procedures and key control procedures.
• Responsible for daily maintenance of currency counters and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Performs accurate kiosk and JPX Kiosk drop counts and Table Games counts.
• Performs accurate soft count cash counting functions.
• Ensures all carts are secured at all times.
• Completes paperwork and reports variances to management.
• Learns Soboba Service Standards and adheres to them.
• Must maintain a regular attendance record and reliable schedule.
• Performs special projects and other duties as requested.

Summary

The Count Drop Team Representative performs duties as part of the drop and count collection team. Operates all drop and count team equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Completes the daily collection of bill accepters Cash boxes from slot, Kiosks and JPX kiosks.


• Transports full and empty Transport carts to count room or casino floor ensuring the safety of all guest and employees.


• Opens slot machines, Kiosks and JPX Kiosk doors by following Department Standard operating procedures.


• Operates handheld scanner to scan slot machine asset number and Cash boxes barcodes by following Department Standard operating procedures.


• Counts daily currency from slot drop, Table Games, Kiosks and JPX Kiosk and operates Cummins Allison currency counter equipment.


• Able to work at a fast pace work environment


• Performs rapid counting of large sums of currency counting equipment.


• Performs rapid counting of large sums of currency while ensuring the security of funds.


• Complies with Soboba Tribal Internal Controls and Casino policies and procedures and complies with strict key control procedures.


• Responsible for the daily maintenance of currency counters and troubleshoots equipment problems.


• Performs accurate Kiosk and JPX Kiosk drop counts.


• Performs accurate Table Games counts.


• Performs accurate soft count cash counting functions.


• Ensures all carts are secured and safeguarded at all times.


• Accurately completes paperwork and reports any variances or discrepancies to management.


• Ability to learn and perform the Soboba Service Standards


• Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.


• Perform special projects and other responsibilities, tasks, or duties as requested.

Education / Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age, or older.

• Warehouse experience, preferred.

Certificates, licenses and registration

• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.


• Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
