Job summary

Heartland Behavioral Health in Missouri is seeking a QMHP to provide individual, family and group psychotherapy to patients and families and to work independently within an interdisciplinary treatment team.

The role includes completing psychosocial histories, aiding discharge planning and participating in treatment team meetings; licensure in Missouri is preferred, with sign-on bonus options.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of psychotherapy principles, practices and techniques.
• Master’s degree in psychology, social work or counseling.
• Missouri licensure preferred (LCSW, LPC, Psy.D., Ph.D.) with sign-on bonus options.
• Two years experience in psychiatric inpatient setting preferred.

• Knowledge of the professional principles, practices and techniques of psychotherapy as they apply to patients/residents undergoing psychiatric treatment and rehabilitation.
• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in psychology, social work or counseling.
• Prefer: Licensure from the State of Missouri to practice independently as a clinician in stated field, i.e., LCSW, LPC Psy.D. Ph.D., $10,000.00 SIGN-ON BONUS Will consider provisional licensure. $7,000.00 SIGN-ON BONUS
• Prefer: Two years experience in psychiatric inpatient setting preferred, practicum/internships within a mental health setting.
