Job summary

BrightView Health is seeking a dedicated Counselor to support addiction treatment programs. The role involves leading group therapy, patient intake, crisis intervention, and ongoing treatment planning in a collaborative on-site setting.

The ideal candidate will have an active clinical license in the state, a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, and a commitment to quality patient care within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active clinical licensure consistent with state-level regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments based on clinic needs and best-practice guidelines.
• Provide crisis and de-escalation techniques.
• Assist with treatment planning.
• Review progress towards treatment plan goals.
• Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team.
• Attend required meetings, including on-site staff meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Timely and comprehensively document all necessary treatment data into the electronic patient health record.
• Follow adherence to all necessary regulatory and company compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• EXPERIENCE
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience in a relevant field
• EDUCATION:
  • Required: Consistent with state-level regulation and requirements, at minimum Bachelors Degree
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree

• REQUIRED: Active clinical licensure consistent with state-level regulatory requirements, at minimum
