Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare’s Langhorne residential program provides gender-specific, individualized recovery services for adults in Bucks County. Counselors facilitate group and individual therapy, education, and medical support to aid recovery and personal growth.

Staff work evenings Tue–Sat or Mon–Fri, with weekends off as noted. The facility emphasizes trauma-informed care and collaborative treatment planning within a supportive, on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field with licensure progression (or active licensure).
• Bachelor’s degree plus CADC certification and 1 year counseling experience (individual, group, or family).
• Consideration given to those pursuing licensure/certification with required experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily schedule, including assessments, utilization review, and clinical services.
• Provide individual and group therapy to treatment clients.
• Complete client intake assessments.
• Train in utilization review processes and perform insurance reviews as needed.
• Maintain caseload as required.
• Support the Director in delivering necessary services for the facility.
• Perform clerical duties for maintaining client files.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

Summary:

Our Langhorne residential program offers gender-specific, individualized recovery services for adult men and women in Bucks County and surrounding areas. We focus on empowering individuals to safely cope with various forms of trauma without the use of substances, enabling them to overcome feelings of victimization and pursue wellness and personal growth. Residents at our facility live on-site in a structured environment and receive education, therapy, and medical care to support their recovery journey. Counselors play a crucial role by facilitating process group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy.

Shift:

Tuesday - Saturday - Days Off: Sunday and Monday - 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Monday - Friday - Days Off: Saturday and Sunday - 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Pay:

$50,000 - $55,000 based on experience and education

Responsibilities:

Required skills:

• Option 1: Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Chemical Dependency. Licensed (or working toward) as LMFT, LSW, LPC, or CAADC.
• Option 2: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Chemical Dependency. Certified (or working toward) as CADC and 1 year of counseling experience (individual, group, or family therapy).
• Consideration given to those working toward licensure or certification with the required experience.
