Counselor - Technical

Location: OH, US

Provide technical support to internal and external customers through product demonstrations, ideation and training.

  • Plan, develop and provide training on all products at customer locations, including Brokers.
  • Support attainment of annual sales and profit targets in conjunction with Sales Manager expectations.
  • Develop and maintain close business relationships with key retailers and provide training and merchandising expertise.
  • Assist Sales Managers and Brokers at food shows, sales meetings and industry events.
  • Provide support for new store openings.
  • Provide product expertise and pull-through sales opportunities.
  • Develop prospect list for new product placement opportunities with assigned account(s).
  • Provide overall/new product training.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • High School diploma, associate's degree in culinary arts preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years retail bakery experience, focusing on product training and in-store bakery merchandising preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate key customer interactions.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills to include solid presentation skills.
  • Strong PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Up to 75% travel
  • Pastry Chef certification and/or experience a plus.

Compensation

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates (Rich's), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential and location.

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$64,190.91 - $86,846.53
