## **Job Posting Title:**Counselor Intern - Spring Semester 2027## Job Description:This position is specifically for graduate students, specifically in a Masters program or Certificate program for School Counseling, to work in a school site counseling program with training that will include individual student planning, responsive services, and systems support that aligns with the National Model. The intern will work as a team member with school staff, parents, and the community to create a caring, supportive climate in an atmosphere whereby students can achieve academic success. The intern will gain an understanding of unique and diverse challenges, both personally and developmentally, that impact academic and social emotional achievement of students. The intern will develop and promote good community relations among various community and school clientele. The intern will work with a school(s) that have demonstrated essential understanding of comprehensive counseling programming that is aligned with the ASCA National Model in order to meet university standards.
